02What this website collects

Very little, by design. This site is a set of static pages. It contains no contact forms, no analytics, no advertising or tracking scripts, and no embedded third-party content. Fonts are served from our own domain rather than a font provider, so loading a page does not disclose your visit to anyone else.

We set no cookies of our own. Our hosting provider may set a strictly necessary cookie for security and bot mitigation; it is not used to profile you or to track you across websites.

Hosting and server logs

Our hosting provider records technical information automatically when a page is requested. This normally includes your IP address, the time of the request, the page requested, and your browser's user-agent string. We use it only to deliver the site and to protect it from attack and abuse.

• Lawful basis: legitimate interests — keeping our website available and secure.
• Retention: short-term, in line with our hosting provider's standard log retention.

03If you contact us

The addresses published on this site are email addresses, so when you write to us we receive whatever you choose to send: typically your name, your email address, your employer, and the content of your message. If you are contacting us as a supplier or counterparty, that may also include commercial and contact details for your business.

• Purpose: to answer your enquiry, to assess and negotiate with suppliers, and to manage the resulting business relationship.
• Lawful basis: legitimate interests for enquiries and pre-contract discussions; performance of a contract once we are working together; legal obligation where we are required to keep records.

04Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for marketing purposes. We share it only with:

• Service providers acting on our instructions — our website hosting provider and our email and productivity provider, which process data on our behalf under contract.
• Professional advisers — accountants and legal advisers, where necessary.
• Authorities and regulators — where we are legally required to disclose.

05International transfers

Some of our providers process data outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by UK adequacy regulations or by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, together with appropriate technical and organisational safeguards.

06How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not lead anywhere: kept while the enquiry is live and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted.
• Supplier and counterparty records: kept for the duration of the relationship.
• Accounting and tax records: kept for six years after the end of the financial year they relate to, as required of a UK company.

07Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:

• be told what personal data we hold about you, and get a copy of it;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• have data erased, where we have no continuing lawful reason to keep it;
• restrict or object to our processing, including where we rely on legitimate interests;
• receive data you gave us in a portable form;
• withdraw consent, where our processing relies on consent.

To exercise any of these, email office@n-act.io. We will respond within one month. There is no charge in normal circumstances.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113. We would prefer the chance to put it right first.

08Changes to this notice

If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top of it. Material changes affecting people we already correspond with will be communicated directly.
